GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Coordinate with Box Office and Franchise Ticket Managers all staffing needs for arena/coliseum events and assist event nights when staffing is inadequate
Participate in box office supervisor rotation schedule for all events in arena and coliseum
Maintain petty cash – includes balancing weekly and maintaining proper availability of petty cash
Distribute and verify sellers cash drawers daily
Maintain accurate and organized files for all future will call
Train and educate new sellers on ticket system software
Maintain working relationship with Ticketmaster staff to ensure accurate event build/information and hardware/software maintenance
Maintain working relationship with SS&E sales, marketing, booking, operations and event staff
Maintain working knowledge of Archtics in order to provide adequate customer service in absence of franchise staff
In absence of Box Office Manager, work closely with arena/coliseum event promoters and agents to provide updated event information (email or fax various daily reports as required by event promoter), prepare event settlement documents and attend settlement as required. Update daily box office reports, handle arena/coliseum ticket requests, provide assistance to arena management staff or the director of ticket operations as necessary
Maintain professional level of appearance of self and others as well as box office working environment
General office duties including but not limited to answering phones using proper and professional phone etiquette, organized filing of ticket vouchers and signed will call receipts
Provide any further assistance as required under the direction of the Box Office Manager
