IH 35 Southbound Frontage Road between Walters Street and New Braunfels Street
Beginning daily 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday April 23, 2008 and Thursday April 24, 2008 crews will close the Southbound left lane on the frontage road between Walters Street and New Braunfels Street in order for crews to install low profile concrete traffic barriers. All ramps will remain open for this closure.
April 28 – 29, 2008
IH 35 Southbound Main Lane between Walters Street to New Braunfels Avenue Beginning at 8:00 p.m. on Monday April 28, 2008 to 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday April 29, 2008 crews will close the IH 35 Southbound two right Main Lanes between Walters Street to New Braunfels Avenue in order for crews to install concrete traffic barriers along the right outside shoulder.
RAMPS CLOSED: The Exit Ramp to New Braunfels and the Entrance Ramp from Walters Street will be closed for several months in order for crews to perform work in this phase of construction.
Detour: Detour signs will be in place directing motorists to the temporary exit to New Bruanfels.
A construction project, that
is estimated to extend over the next 21 months, will take place at I-35 and
Walters. Throughout the next 21 months check these various options on how to

Option #1 - From Northwest San Antonio (Start
point: I-10 East)
From I-10 East, continue through downtown, Exit Houston Street, turn left
under the overpass, continue on Houston Street until the AT&T Center appears
on right
VIA Park & Ride from Crossroads Mall
Option #2 – From
North Central San Antonio (Start point: U.S. Highway 281 South)
From U.S. Highway 281 South, exit Houston Street, make a left at Houston
Street and the AT&T Center will be on your left.
From U.S. Highway 281 South, travel through downtown and Exit I-10 East,
exit Houston Street, turn left on Houston Street
Option #3 –
From Northeast San Antonio (Start point: I-35 South)
From I-35 South, Exit Loop 410 South, Exit W.W. White Road, turn right on
Gembler Road and left on AT&T Center
From I-35 South, Exit Loop 410 South and pass W.W.White. If congested, Exit
I-10 West and Exit Houston, turn right on Houston Street onto AT&T Center

VIA Park & Ride from Randolph Blvd.
Option #4 – From
South San Antonio (Start point: I-35 North)
From I-35 North, Exit I-10 East, Exit Houston Street, turn left on Houston
Street to the AT&T Center
From I-37 north, exit Houston Street, turn right on Houston Street to
AT&T Center
Option #5 – From West San Antonio (Start point:
U.S. Highway 90 East)
From U.S. Highway 90/I-10 East, Exit Houston and turn left on Houston Street
onto AT&T Center
From U.S. Highway 90/I-10 East, Exit I-37 North, Exit Commerce and turn
right on Commerce Street, turn left on Coca-Cola Place toward the AT&T
