The San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo is looking forward to welcoming you to its 60th anniversary show in 2009 taking place February 5-22! The AT&T Center is the proud home of the 18 day event which offers the most thrills and adventures for the young and young at heart. A record 1.3 million people attended the Stock Show and Rodeo in 2008 and the event is proud to offer many exciting activities and fun for all ages!

Extreme Action
The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) has named the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo the Large Indoor Rodeo of the Year for the fourth year in a row with wins in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008, making the AT&T Center literally the “Home of Champions”. The best bucking stock and top rodeo contestants compete yearly for a $1 million purse and the honor of taking home a San Antonio champion buckle.
Singing Stars
An exciting concert performance by the top names in country, rock, pop, comedy and Latin music follow each rodeo performance on the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo round stage! Some of the biggest names in the music industry such as Alan Jackson, Keith Urban, Brooks and Dunn, Gary Allan, Hilary Duff, Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Beach Boys, Staind, Los Tigres del Norte and Intocable have performed at the Stock Show and Rodeo for sellout audiences.
Fun for All
The Freeman Coliseum grounds host an action-packed fairgrounds with one of the country’s biggest carnivals, live music, amazing food, upscale shopping and family entertainment and educational areas such as the Swifty Swine Pig Races, petting zoos, Wild West heritage shows, Animal Adventures and much more!
Livestock Activities
The San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo is home to the World’s Largest Junior Livestock Show as well as many fantastic Horse Show activities and special events taking place in the barn areas.
Volunteers and Mission
Over 4000 volunteers contributing to over 38 committees diligently work towards the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo’s mission of “A volunteer organization that emphasizes agriculture and education to develop the youth of Texas.” Since the inception of the SALE Scholarship Fund in 1984, over $79 million has been committed to education for youth in the State of Texas.
