IT Developer

Candidate will work on developing, testing, deploying and supporting our custom
developed statistical analysis applications using Microsoft SQL Server, Visual
Basic.NET, and the Microsoft.NET Framework.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with general managers, coaches, scouts to define and create reports using Active Reports component
• Enhance VB.NET windows based application with new features/requirements
• Develop stored procedures
• Automate data loading and import into SQL Server from various statistical data feed formats
• Design and Automate ETL processes
• Provide data modeling and documentation
• Lead testing and deployment management
• Manage data warehousing and analysis

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years experience with Microsoft .NET platform developing applications
• 1 to 2 years experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000
• Should have knowledge of stored procedures, T-SQL, DTS, indexing, performance tuning and security
• Working knowledge of Visual Basic.NET
• Knowledge of Active Reports component
• Experience in usage of the CSLA Business Object Library
• Understanding of networking basics
• Bachelor's degree (Computer Science or Engineering), verifiable by transcripts
• Experienced problem solver
• Self-starter that can handle multiple tasks and priorities with limited direction
