You're a AT&T Center fan. And as a valued fan, we want you to know that protecting your privacy on the Internet is a priority for us. The purpose of this page is to expand upon and clarify our policy on the collection and use of fan data to ensure the highest level of confidentiality and security.
Whether this is your first time on-line or you're a seasoned web surfer, we've spelled out our house rules for you here. Generally speaking, these rules simply require respect and good manners. Use your common sense, and you'll feel right at home.
This web site is "rated G." So that means, we don't allow obscene, racist, or sexually explicit language. We also reserve the right to remove postings that defame or insult anyone, and notes that are abusive or hateful. Any harassing notes or postings that might be construed as stalking, will be deleted and made available to the proper law-enforcement officials. We also reserve the right to remove notes that are off the subject or not in English.
No solicitations or advertisements are allowed. This includes advertisements for your business or latest get-rich-scheme. Such notes add clutter and devalue conversation.
- You may not suggest or encourage illegal activity. The AT&T Center will assist law-enforcement officials.
- You must have copyright ownership of all material you post on our bulletin boards or in our chat rooms. No articles, recipes, song lyrics, art, graphics, or other material may be posted without the express written consent of the copyright holder.
- You must respect the privacy of individuals. This means no posting of phone numbers, addresses, Social Security numbers, or any other private information. Having good manners on-line means that you don't post the same note more than once. The on-line word for posting many times on one topic is "spamming." We don't allow that.
- You participate at your own risk on the bulletin boards, in chat, and in e-mail, if those features are offered. All chats may be monitored by AT&T Center staff members. You take responsibility for postings under your identification and use the information provided on the AT&T Center including on bulletin boards, chat, and e-mail at your own risk. The AT&T Center takes no responsibility for the content or opinions posted in bulletin board, chat, or e-mail.
- The AT&T Center reserves the right to remove any postings (although has no duty to do so).
All text, graphics and photographs contained on this site are protected by international copyright and trademark laws. No material may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any way without the express written consent of the AT&T Center.
When you provide personal information to the AT&T Center (including name, address, phone number, e-mail address or company name), we will not give or sell your individual information to any outside company for its use in marketing or direct solicitation. At any time you have the right to stop receiving future AT&T Center communications via the Internet. In addition, our web site offers state-of-the-art encryption technology to help protect the transmission of fan information over the Internet.
Our policies are based in part on standard industry practices developed by The Direct Marketing Association, and we will continue to make necessary changes in the future to protect your privacy.
